At this time, I consider the season over. Got a decent number of days, but considering I was skiing every day between Christmas and New Year, I wonder why it didn’t turn out to be more.
2011-2012: 37 days
2012-2013: 20 days
2013-2014: 26 days
2014-2015: 28 days
2015-2016: 47 days
2016-2017: 38 days
2017-2018: 40 days

Day 39 in Northstar
Nice ending of the season.
Day 22 in Northstar
Today was actually good. The cold temperatures have kept the snow soft, so the conditions were perfect for carving. There were a few icy spots, but nothing too bad.
Day 21 in Northstar
Another hard-pack day with patches of soft. I’ve said it before, but it’s worth repeating; I don’t like skiing when it makes sounds. There should be no sound when your skis touch the snow.
Anyway, still a great day in the mountains.
Day 20 in Northstar
After skiing for a week in Japan, I am now back on the skis in Northstar again. They opened more terrain since the last time I was here, but the conditions were mediocre. Many hard spots with some softer sides make it unpredictable. Especially the connection between Zephyr and Comstock should be avoided as it is an icy mogul field.
